SCY Level1: Learn Yoga

A comprehensive foundation in the practice and philosophy of yoga.

Designed for sincere practitioners, this programme combines structured learning with consistent practice and reflective enquiry to help you develop a deep and integrated understanding of yoga.

Rather than simply acquiring knowledge, you'll be guided to embody the teachings through direct experience, allowing yoga to become a lived way of life.

Integrated Curriculum

A carefully structured curriculum covering the foundational disciplines of yoga, enabling you to understand both the individual practices and how they work together as a complete system for holistic wellbeing and inner growth.

Experiential Pedagogy

Learning extends beyond the classroom through guided practice, reflective assignments, group discussions, and self-enquiry, encouraging direct experience alongside conceptual understanding.

Personal Transformation

The program is designed to help you establish a sustainable personal practice, deepen self-awareness, and integrate the principles of yoga into your daily life.

Core Modules

Yoga Philosophy provides the map that brings the whole practice and curriculum together. While a general brief of popular yogic scriptures are provided, go beyond theory to understand the true essence of yoga.

Module 7: Kirtan, Mantra & Sound Healing

At Skanda, we believe transformation happens not only through knowledge but also through the power of sound, music,  and devotion. Module 8: Introduction to Ayurvedic Cooking

Food is more than nourishment—it is an integral part of a yogic lifestyle. Learn the foundations of Ayurvedic cooking, understand how food influences body and mind, and discover simple principles for preparing balanced, wholesome meals that support health, vitality, and your yoga practice.
